Background

Following my A-levels, (maths, physics and chemistry), I initially studied Chemistry at Exeter University in 1988: this was not to be my subject of choice! I went on to complete a degree in Business Information Systems at Brighton and Paris V universities, graduating in 1994.

Following this, I spent 8 years as analyst programmer and then business analyst, until I moved to France in 2000, where I took a job with a global PC vendor to develop and manage their purchasing database.

The site closed in 2004, at which time I moved to Brittany and set up my own business, first in PC maintenance and then video transfer services, for 9 years from 2009 to 2018.
